The Cork Flooring Advantage
Welcome Left bg

Cork is manufactured from the bark of the cork oak tree which is harvested by hand.  Cork oaks are native to southern Europe, particularly abundant in Portugal. The harvesting process is a very strictly outlined, in keeping with the goal of sustaining the cork oak species and individual cork oaks. The harvest process ensures the health and re-growth of cork bark on cork oak tress, making cork a renewable and environmentally responsible flooring material.

Cork oak bark is known as a hard-wearing, moisture resistant, and anti-static material, traced to its cellular nature.  These billions of cells, which are microscopic pockets of air, lend cork bark a highly insulating, and impact-resistant nature.  These characteristics carry over to cork flooring too, absorbing impacts of footfalls, providing a comfortable cushiony surface to walk upon. Cork flooring also holds on to warmth, providing an extra level of comfort to your interiors. Cork flooring is equally suitable for the varied foot traffic levels at both home and office.
